Part-time Trainers required (freelance)
Viva Access is looking to expand its pool of trainers. We are seeking OTs who have at least 5 years’ ‘hands-on’ experience working in the field of housing adaptation and design for older and disabled people. You will be based in or around the London area, the Midlands or those parts of the Home Counties that have easy access to London. If you have not trained before, not an issue as you will be trained in Viva Access style and methodology.
For your information, our face-to-face courses include:
- Reading plans
- Accessible kitchen
- Bathroom adaptation & desig
- Housing & equipment issues for bariatric users
- Accessible lifts
- Building issues in adaptation work
- Adapting and designing for wheelchair users
- Housing for Users with Visual Impairment
- Adapting for children with challenging behaviours
- Disabled Facilities Grants
