Handouts and pre-course reading material: delegates will be sent these at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance of the training date.
Delegate Equipment: we recommend you bring with you a:
(a) TAPE MEASURE. Any tape measure will suffice for the purposes of the training. If however you are planning on purchasing a new tape measure (and
intend to use this in your work), then we recommend purchasing one that is Metric only, Steel and minimum 3 metres long (preferably 5 metres). These
are available in most larger hardware stores and also online from, for example, Amazon.
(b) SCALE RULE. If purchasing or borrowing one for the course, try and make sure it contain scales of 1:20 and 1:50.
Additional instructions: we will be sending out a checklist of suggestions in the next few weeks with the aim of helping you to get the most out of
your Viva Access online training courses! It will cover issues such as use of headphones, wi-fi connection. use of video etc and a screencast giving
you an overview of the controls on Zoom and how to use them.
